The Chronicle Herald best guess for 29 Feb is down 1 cent per liter.

Either the NSURB is pulling numbers out of its ass, or the new Chronicle-Herald business editor really sucks at at the Gas Gauge portion of his job.

The long weekend is behind us, and the price still went up. Up 1.0 cents in Zone 2.

C-H says no change this week, while the CBC says up, but only 0.2 cents per liter.

I'm curious - If there is no change, do the Berwick PetroCan and Irving/Needs stations revert back to the highest allowable price for three days again? We'll try and track that!

CBC finally came through Thursday evening, forecasting 1.5 cent drop. Right on, as it turns out. 1.5 / 1.6 in Zone Two. C-H was off by a bit this week. The URB web site isn't very user friendly, but we'll get it bookmarked eventually...

C-H says up 1.0 cent. CBC said nothing on its Nova Scotia at 6 report. Don't know about the Whatever at 5, or the Halifax at 5:30 reports. I've about given up on the CBC evening news, too convoluted for my tastes.

The darts must have slipped when they were thrown! Down 3.2 / 3.3 cents in Zone 2. Summer is truly over!

They're back! The C-H predicts a drop of 1 cent per liter, while the CBC predicts a drop of 1.8 cents per liter. We'll see who's closest to the price fixers dart board tonight...

Hmmm...

Both the Berwick PetroCan and the Berwick Needs Convenience Store have now brought their prices into line with those of the surrounding communities. I'm sure Berwick consumers are relieved they don't have to leave town to get fuel at a slightly more reasonable price...

I'll add a rider to this one. Just took a drive into Berwick, their price went up by three tenths of a cent. Lucky Berwickians (?) Berwickites (?). They continue to be hosed with the highest price possible under the price fixing regime.

Business editor Steve Proctor has left the Chronicle Herald, and there will be no more guesses until a new editor is appointed.

Nothing to see here - Please move along!

I missed the CBC news last evening, and the Chronicle-Herald missed the forecast today. So, its anybody's guess what will happen tonight. Mind you, that makes it the same as any other week!

Using the same formula (they say) CBC's guess is down 1.7 cents tomorrow, while the C-H says there will be no change this week. Wonder where the price fixer's dart will land?

CBC has an interesting forecast this week. They *very precisely* forecast a drop of one tenth of a cent. I suspect they meant a drop of one cent, but...
Meanwhile, the C-H says no change this week.

Apparently, the Gummint Gas Gougers think the price is high enough, according to the C-H. Hence, their guess is No Change again this week. Missed the CBC guess, if they bothered to make one...

And, supposedly using the same formula, the Gummint Price Fixers came up with a 3.3 cent rise this week. Can anyone even try to explain what the H is going on in this Province? Is it time for Dr Doolittle to fix this? You know it is...

Supposedly using the same formula as the Gummint, the C-H says up 1.5 cents tonight, while the CBC says up 2.5 cents. What a remarkable formula...
