Keep as active as you can....BTW, it's a volunteer ministry to help others...and shouldn't be a burden, BUT we'd love to hear from you on GasBuddy Inbox, not just on whiteboard!

One other thing is that the politicians, both Democrats and Republicans at the top are among the top 3% and they really don't have any concern to share of their own wealth, otherwise they would. Joe Biden is a good example in that he made $150k in one year and gave away a measly $300. Talk about greed and many feel he's so great. NONE of them are at the top, or rather only a handful are. I don't like the left as they're great at giving away money out of the pockets of others and making it crumbs to the poor while wasting money in government and making their friends and supporters wealthier. The Republicans aren't any good as they do it, only to a lesser degree of waste, more to the wealthy, and less crumbs to the poor. We're screwed from either side.

generator, I'd be able to afford healthcare insurance, insurance on the vehicle, the fuel for it, eat properly and continue my education as I'd like. I'd even be able to put away a few dollars every week. Some people among the wealthiest in this country are so out of touch that they believe that $20k is middle class for an individual; that's far from the truth. The politicians are NOT any better, not Democrats or Republicans for that matter,, otherwise they'd be all over the minimum wage being raised to $10 an hour. It would only benefit everyone and the government as well in this country if they did.

Well, yes, you're quite right. I'm almost in favor of it being forced upon them at this point just because of their greed. I'm not in favor of it being just say, given away, though a slight bit more to the poor; but mainly through higher wages. I don't have anything against anyone being successful, and I hope that everyone can be, but to be so damned greedy that you're making millions while some of the people in your company are only making $14,000 to $18,000 a year is utter nonsense. People making over $40,000 are generally out of touch with the reality of how it is for the poor and working class poor and lower middle class. I'm speaking of an individual making $40k, not a family. A family of just four making $40k is poor today. If I was making $40k a year, geez, I'd almost feel rich as I'd have a place of my own, a vehicle which I would have already modified to get somewhere between 12 to 44% better fuel efficiency, I'd have solar panels, a small wind turbine, a hydrogen power....

...would ALL be over $8 each. Most couldn't afford it. However, this would benefit quite a few people here at home, Canada, Europe, the Ukraine, etc. It won't benefit the politicians, oil and natural gas and energy industries, shipping, etc., only. But, they of course will make out the best.

"I don't see this connect at all! We need to take care of our middle class and the poor instead of sending natural gas over to anyone." Natural gas is at about $4.60 and they don't want it to be back down to $2.86 again or less. This will help to ensure it doesn't drop below say $3.20 ever again. The more they export, the more they make, the higher the prices are, etc. They want more money and they want us to pay more. That's Obama, most of his administration, the EPA, many Democrats, quite a few Republicans, extreme environmentalists [mind you, I'M A GREENIE, or a TREE-HUGGER!, but I'm a REALIST first and foremost and I don't want to pay $5 for a loaf of bread or more or the same or more for a gallon of gas. That doesn't NEED to happen to get us to go greener.], Big Oil, OPEC, etc. They WANT gas to be $5 a gallon and more, even up the the $14 a gallon mark. At $14 a gallon, milk, bread and a dozen eggs...

Bonito - if you miss posting for a day due to being gone and getting home after midnight, there is a way to still get points for that lost day. From a browser window simply go to another site in a different time zone like Denver gas prices or even Hawaii gas prices, depending on how many hours after midnight it is. Using Hawaii would buy you another 5 hours, meaning you could still get your points for the previous day at 4:55 AM. This has saved my streak several times.
