Remember, CP, that these are public forums, and most of the items are posted by members like us rather than Gas Buddy staffers. I'm gonna bet that sometimes a person will see what they think is an interesting news item and just up and post it without looking to see if it's already been out here for two or three days. At least we all have the option of looking at the headline and deciding that we're not going to waste our time with something that we've already seen. Of course we don't always decide that. Sometimes we just go ahead and waste some time anyway. But we're not being forced to do that, so it's really not something to complain about. Ya think?

No. Not unemployed. He worked at the fuel storage facility where he stole the gas. Then he hauled it 27-28 miles, through one of the major harbor tunnels and down a very busy highway in the back of his Dodge Caravan - in 55 gallon drums! - to his home. Did it for over a year. Hard to imagine what a total barbecue it would have been if he'd been in a wreck. Especially if it was in the tunnel... They installed some surveillance cameras on utility poles around his home. Some of the film they showed on the news here had his wife leaning on the back of the Caravan lighting a smoke for one of her friends. There was probably well over 100 gallons of gas in the back of the van at the time. God must have wanted them to stay alive. Or maybe he just didn't want to deal with a 20-foot crater in that neighborhood. [Edited by: ShadowACE at 8/23/2010 12:35:35 AM EST]
